How to have your photo’s taken?

'Before' Photograph

Wear clothing that will emphasise your full body shape e.g. swimsuit, hot pants or Speedo. Do not wear any watches or jewellery - it detracts from the focus point of the photograph.

  • Anyone can take your photograph, but it must be in colour and it must be sharp and well defined.
  • The photograph should be taken against a clear background, preferably white.
  • The size of each photograph should be approximately 10cm by 15cm.
  • Please stand with the BODY & LIFESTYLE CHALLENGE PASSPORT in your left hand.
  • Your whole body (from head to toe) should appear in the photograph.
  • Please look straight at the camera when the photo is taken.
  • Do not pose!
  • Please stand with the current day's newspaper with the front page showing in your right hand towards the camera.

'After' Photograph

Wear the same type of clothing as in the 'Before' photograph - wear clothing that will emphasise your full transformation, e.g. swimsuit, hot pants or Speedo.

  • Do not wear any watches or jewellery - it detracts from the focus point of the photograph.
  • Please remove any unsightly excess hair - it allows for more definition of muscle groups.
  • Darker skin promotes more muscle definition - a tanned body will exhibit your transformation more definitely. The lighting of the photograph is very important. Make sure that there is enough light when the photograph is taken.
  • Please follow the same guidelines as in the 'Before' photograph.
  • No posing!
  • Remember to take photographs of both your front and back views.
  • Be confident of your body and yourself - good luck!
  • Paste your 'Before' and 'After' photographs in the spaces provided in the passport or posted on the USN Challenge website.
